up close and personal

One of our major assignments this summer was to photograph 36 complete strangers with a 28-35mm lens range (which meant we got right up in their face!), and ask them a few questions.  It was to teach us to get more comfortable photographing strangers, and although I was stressed out about it at first, it got easier.  Most folks I photographed were very nice about it, and I learned a lot about people in the town I live, it ended up being a lot of fun.  Above are some of my favorite from the set - all in natural light.
